As the consignor, you need to prepare your items so you can get the most out of your consignment experience.
What We Want –
- Women’s Designer Clothing & Accessories
- Current Style (By this we mean within a year or two of the current year)
- We are not interested in clothing from the early 2000’s, 1900’s, 1980’s or 1970’s Vintage Clothing and Accessories 1960’s and earlier
- Recently cleaned and pressed
- No hangers, no plastic bags. The better it looks, the more you’ll make!
- We inspect all items inside and out.
- Fresh smelling garments, free of lint, pet hair, and stains.
- No mothball or smoke odors
- Clothing accepted in season only
- Better quality, designer or popular labels sell best.
Buyers want clothing that is like new. Please check for:
- Working zippers and fasteners
- Missing buttons
- Holes, tears, matting, fading stains and odors
- Signs of wear on collars, cuffs, hemlines
- Wrinkles
- Current season and current style
- Better quality, designer or high-end labels
To be accepted, clothes must meet all of the above criteria. The better it looks, the faster it will turn into cash for you!
We only accept items that are in perfect condition. We select what our customers want to buy from the items you bring in. Please understand that our customers’ preferences must be our selection guidelines. Our customers expect to find an exceptional selection of designer clothing.
Marilyn’s Consignment Boutique sets the price based on quality, brand, supply and demand. You receive 40% of the selling price and may stop in anytime for the money you’ve made. We will display your items for 90 days.

Schedule-
- January: Transition to Spring
- February-July: Spring & Summer
- August: Transition to Autumn
- September-December: Fall & Winter
Accessories
- Fine Jewelry (Tiffany, Yurman, etc.)
- Signed Costume Jewelry (Vintage as well as Contemporary)
- Scarves (Hermes, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc.)
- Shoes
- Gloves, belts, hats
We do not accept any copies, fakes, or forgeries of clothing or accessories
Items are kept for 90 days
